Sugo! is a feature documentary in progress exploring the tradition of preserving passata, its origins, and how it risks disappearing within Italian diaspora communities.

 

We received a Canada Council for the Arts grant in 2023 and most recently a grant from Ontario Arts Council. Recently, we were selected to participate at the Hot Docs Deal Makers which will take place at the end of April 2026. 

 

With the continued support of our production partners, we know this project will be an entertaining and informative exploration of universal themes of heritage, immigration, and family.
